Sheet'ka Kwaan Naa Kahidi Tribal Community House & Dancers

Sheet'ka Kwaan Naa Kahidi Native Dancers

The Naa Kahidi dancers hold ceremonies that are open to the public in the Community House. Ancient songs, full regalia, elaborate dances, and unique instruments all contribute to this incredible cultural experience!

The Community House also contains a small gift shop with authentic Native artwork for sale.

Tlingit is the native tribe of Sitka. Their culture has been passed down from generation to generation, not through writing, but through song and dance. Keeping that tradition alive, dancers perform in connection with Sitka Tribal Tours at the Sheet'ka Kwaan Naa Kahidi Community House. Hear the songs of tradition handed down by generations of a living culture.

SUMMER FEES
$10/adult, $5/child for a 1/2 hour performance

Thanks to Captain Ching and deckhand Levi for their expertise in guiding us to the fishing grounds, helping us land our catch and cleaning our fishes on deck. We truly appreciated all their help, hospitality and kindness. This year was a very fun year for us fishing in Sitka. Thanks to you and your staff for putting up with us at your lodge and the graciousness of catering to our needs. The house was a “home away from home” atmosphere, where everyone enjoyed the company of each other. We could not ask for a better fishing environment and I am sure we will be coming back to your lodge in the future. -Don Y. (August 2009)
